Asharqia Chamber hosts Al-Birr Association in the monthly meeting of businesswomen
Asharqia Chamber organized a monthly meeting for businesswomen on Tuesday, in which it hosted the director of the women’s branch of the Al-Birr Association in Dammam, Najla Al-Khalidi, and the director of the women’s branch in Al-Khobar, Eida Al-Shehri, where they reviewed the programs and activities of the association directed to the beneficiaries.
The two guests emphasized the excellence of the business sector in the eastern region and its keenness to support the Society's projects, put forward development ideas for its work, and participate in many programs and activities implemented by the Al Ber Society.
The meeting, which was held on Tuesday evening, July 6, 2021, reviewed the association's strategic objectives, including ensuring the adoption of innovative solutions to promote sustainable development for the neediest groups, supporting the building of productive capacities for needy families, achieving financial sustainability and building strategic partnerships.
The meeting indicated that the total support provided to families for the fiscal year 2020 amounted to more than 100 million riyals, provided to more than 50,000 families, and included various projects such as development, education, and health initiatives, and 32 families from the eastern region benefited from development housing projects.
The meeting reviewed several partnerships, as a result of which 131 job opportunities were provided in 51 companies, from which 11 people of both sexes were employed.
